When three or more teams are tied, a mini-table of head-to-head results is used with the same criteria.

• Exceptions may only be approved by UEG admins (replay, make-up match, rescheduling)
• A request for an exception must be submitted at least 7 days before the scheduled date in the #match-rescheduling channel using the format:

3.2 Reporting results
After each match, the winning team is required to report the result in the #match-results channel. The losing team may also report the result.
Reporting format:
[DATE] | [TEAM A] vs [TEAM B] = [RESULT] [OT / regulation] A screenshot of the result screen is mandatory.
• Reporting deadline: within 24 hours of the match being played
• Missed deadline: warning to the GM; repeated failure = forfeit
• Statistics must reflect the actual course of the match and be supported by a screenshot
3.3 Disconnect (DC)
General rules
• If the game crashes within the first 2 minutes of the 1st period, it may be restarted – a maximum of 2 times. From the third attempt, the game must be completed regardless of technical issues
• DC outside the first 2 minutes is handled as described below
• A complaint regarding a DC must be filed no later than 24 hours after the match was played
• Disputes should be addressed via direct message to an admin on Discord – informal reports in public channels without direct contact with an admin are not considered official reports
Procedure in the event of a player DC (outside the first 2 minutes)
1. The game is paused at the next stoppage in play. Both GMs immediately record the statistics.
2. DC before a face-off: the game is stopped immediately and the puck is removed.
3. DC in the offensive or defensive zone: the current play is completed, then the puck is removed as soon as possible.
4. DC in the neutral zone: the game is stopped immediately and the puck is removed.
5. The remaining time is played in a new match. The team whose player disconnected has 15 minutes to return or provide a replacement. The replacement player must take the same position as the player they are replacing.
6. Between DC matches, no player may change their equipment, build, class or position.
7. Statistics from both parts are merged and reported as a single match.
3.4 Reporting rule violations
• Suspicion of rule violations should be reported via direct message to an admin on Discord
• All disputed situations must be supported by a screenshot or video recording
• Without a video recording, no complaint can be filed regarding prohibited abilities, incorrect equipment or an ineligible player

4. FAIR PLAY AND PROHIBITED PRACTICES

4.1 General fair play principle
Fair play is the most fundamental rule of the league. Every player is required to treat opponents as they themselves would wish to be treated. This applies to both communication and all in-game conduct.
Prohibited:
• Attacking opponents with insults or provocations
• Exploiting game bugs, glitches or de-sync to gain an unfair advantage
• Disrupting the opponent during play (message spam, unnecessary stoppages)
• Toxic behaviour may result in a warning, suspension or ban
• Writing provocative or sarcastic messages that reignite a conflict is prohibited
4.2 Prohibited in-game practices (glitches)
4.2.1 Freezing a player or goalie (freeze bug)
If a player or goalie becomes stuck in an unintended animation, the team that benefits is required to remove the puck as quickly as possible. Deliberate exploitation (e.g. to destroy a scoring opportunity) = fair play violation.
4.2.2 Fighting before a face-off
Initiating a fight before the puck is dropped is strictly prohibited in all competitions.
4.2.3 Reverse hit after a face-off
The player taking the face-off may not perform a reverse hit immediately after the puck is dropped.
4.2.4 Goalie leaving the crease
The goalie may not leave the crease for the purpose of blocking an opposing attacker. Deliberate obstruction of movement = fair play violation.
4.2.5 Trapping a player behind the net
The goalie may not prevent an opposing player from exiting the area behind the net by standing in their way.
4.2.6 Blocking a player without the puck
A player may not deliberately obstruct an opponent who does not have the puck (bump, skate-block). The rule is simple: if you would find the same action unpleasant when used against you, you may not use it yourself.
4.3 Positional builds (prohibited combinations)
⚠️ WARNING: It is PROHIBITED to use forward builds in the defender position and vice versa. The goalie must always play in the goalie position.
Position
Prohibited classes
FORWARD may not play as
Defensive Defender, Enforcer Defender, Puck Moving Defender, Two-way Defender
DEFENDER may not play as
Dangler, Enforcer, Grinder, Playmaker, Power Forward, Sniper, Two-way Forward
Violation of the positional build rule = the relevant match is forfeited 1:0 + GM warning.

5. EQUIPMENT AND JERSEYS

5.1 Team equipment
• Home jersey set: dark
• Away jersey set: light
• Third jersey set: any
• Helmets must be in the team colour (mandatory)
⚠️ WARNING: NO PERKS ARE USED
5.2 Player equipment
• Helmet: team colour (mandatory)
• Gloves: personal choice
• Stick: personal choice
• Skates: personal choice
5.3 Goalie equipment
• Goalie: no restrictions
5.4 Jersey colour and number rules
• Home and away jerseys must have different colour schemes – both jerseys must be clearly distinguishable at a glance
• Having both jerseys in the same colour is not permitted
• Numbers on jerseys must be as legible as possible (light numbers on a dark jersey and vice versa)
• Each player has a unique number – two players on the same team may not share the same number
If the GM notices a colour clash before the match, the away team is required to switch to their alternative jersey before the game begins. If the clash is only discovered after the match has started, the game is immediately stopped and the away team takes to the ice in their alternative jersey.
5.5 Prohibited character types
• Non-human characters (e.g. werewolf) are prohibited
• Special character classes are prohibited

6. TRANSFERS

6.1 Standard transfer
A player who is released from their club, or who requests and is granted a release, and is subsequently signed by another club, undergoes an official league transfer.
Standard transfer rules
• Each player may complete a maximum of 2 transfers during a season
• A third transfer in the same season is not permitted
• Every transfer must be officially reported in the #transfers channel
• A transfer is valid upon mutual agreement of all parties involved and approval by the admins
• From the moment a transfer is approved, the player may only represent their new team
• In a single match round, a player may not represent more than one club
Illustration:
• Club 1 → Club 2 (first transfer)
• Club 2 → Club 3 (second and final transfer)
⚠️ WARNING: Unauthorised participation by a player in breach of this article may be sanctioned by a forfeit of the relevant matches 1:0 and further measures at the discretion of the admin team.
6.2 Free agent
An official free agent is defined as a player who:
• Has not been a member of any club in the current season
• Has not played in any league in the current season
Such a player pays their own entry fee:
Competition
Entry fee
6v6 (EXTRALIGA and 1. LIGA)
10 EUR
3v3 liga
6 EUR
The player may not take part until payment is received. Upon submission of a payment screenshot, the player will be marked as eligible (✅). Until payment is confirmed they are marked as ineligible (❌) and may not participate in a match.
6.3 Special transfers between leagues (6v6 only)
⚠️ WARNING: Player loans in 6v6 mode are abolished. They are replaced by a standard transfer between EXTRALIGA and 1. LIGA under special conditions. These transfers will be designated as SPECIAL TRANSFERS.
Transfer from 1. LIGA to EXTRALIGA
• Each EXTRALIGA club may use a maximum of 2 special transfers
• A club may add a maximum of 2 players from 1. LIGA to its roster
Play-off condition:
• The player must have played a minimum of 6 matches in EXTRALIGA
• Matches from 1. LIGA are not counted
Transfer from EXTRALIGA to 1. LIGA
• Each 1. LIGA club may use a maximum of 1 special transfer
• A club may acquire a maximum of 1 player from EXTRALIGA
Play-off condition:
• The player must have played a minimum of 6 matches in 1. LIGA
• Matches from EXTRALIGA are not counted
6.4 Addendum to special transfers
A club that uses a special transfer (between EXTRALIGA and 1. LIGA) must be aware of the following:
• A player who transfers via a special transfer may not return to their original club in the same season
• Such a player also may not participate in the play-off for their original club, even if they have fulfilled the minimum number of matches played
• This applies in both directions: from 1. LIGA to EXTRALIGA and from EXTRALIGA to 1. LIGA
This transfer is therefore final for the season in terms of the player's eligibility to participate in the play-off for their original club.
6.5 Important provisions on special transfers
• Special transfers do not count toward the limit of 2 standard transfers per season
• A player may use a special transfer even if they have already used both standard transfers
• The condition is the club's interest in the player
6.6 End of the transfer window
EXTRALIGA (6v6)
The transfer window closes when 80% of the regular season has been played. Out of a total of 52 matches that is 41.6 – rounded to 42 matches played. After 42 matches have been played, the transfer window in EXTRALIGA closes.
1. LIGA (6v6)
The transfer window closes when 80% of the regular season has been played. The exact number of matches will be determined based on the number of registered teams and will be announced before the start of the season.
3v3 LIGA
The transfer window closes when 80% of the regular season has been played. The exact number of matches will be determined based on the number of registered teams and the official figure will be announced before the start of the season.
⚠️ WARNING: After the transfer window closes (once the 80% threshold of the regular season is reached): no transfer, free agent addition or special transfer may take place. The transfer window is definitively closed until the end of the season.

7. CLUBS – DISSOLUTION AND SANCTIONS

7.1 GM resignation and continuation of a team (EXTRALIGA)
If a club began the season in EXTRALIGA under a certain name and the GM (club owner) resigns during the season while the players wish to continue:
• The original GM is not required to hand over the club or its name
• The CoGM has the right to create a new team
• The new team may use the original name with a suffix (e.g. HC Nova Huť OMEGA)
This procedure is permitted so that players can continue competing without interruption.
If the team is disbanding but the GM wishes to continue and finish the season:
• They have the right to add players from EXTRALIGA or 1. LIGA to the roster
• These players will be registered as free agents
• Such moves are not classified as standard or special transfers
The aim is to ensure the proper completion of the season.
7.2 Team withdrawal from a competition (1. LIGA and 3v3)
If a team withdraws or fails to complete the competition during the season, all their remaining matches will be automatically forfeited in favour of their opponents.
Sanctions for the GM (General Manager)
• The GM of the team that withdrew from the competition receives a ban of 10 league matches (i.e. 5 double-matches) from the round in which the team withdrew
• During this period they may not act as a player or as a member of a coaching staff
The following also applies:
• The GM is banned from serving as GM in the following season
Other players:
Other players from the withdrawn team may transfer to other clubs without any ban or additional conditions.
7.3 Change of club name (official partnership)
If a team wishes to change its name during or before the season due to an official partnership with a real-world hockey club (e.g. HC SLOVAN esport):
• The name change is permitted
• A fee of 20 EUR must be paid
• The club must provide official documentation or a partnership agreement
8. IDENTITY, ACCOUNTS AND CONDUCT
8.1 Player identity
• A player who impersonates another person or uses a false identity will trigger an immediate investigation by the admin team
• The team in which a false identity is confirmed faces relegation or expulsion from the league
• All teams are required to thoroughly verify the identity of their players
8.2 Alt accounts
⚠️ WARNING: If it is found that a player is playing on multiple accounts (alt accounts) or attempts to circumvent a ban by creating a new profile, they receive a PERMANENT BAN with no possibility of returning to the league. This also applies to testing or assisting another team.
8.3 Community conduct
• Every player and team member is required to treat teammates, opponents and admins with respect
• Insults, mockery, provocations or toxic behaviour may result in a warning, suspension or ban
• Writing provocative or sarcastic messages that re-open a conflict within the community is prohibited
• All disputed situations must be supported by a screenshot or video recording
8.4 Match-fixing
⚠️ WARNING: If it is found that two teams deliberately fixed results between themselves (e.g. arranged matches), both teams will be expelled from the league with no possibility of return.

Reporting a prohibited build requires clear video evidence.
9.3 Admin team's final say
The UEG admin team oversees the conduct of the competition and issues binding interpretations of these rules.
• In disputed, unclear or uncovered situations, the admin team is authorised to rule beyond the explicit text of the rules, in the spirit of fair play and competition integrity
• The admin team may impose, reduce or increase sanctions taking into account the history of violations and submitted evidence
• The admin team reserves the right to request evidence at any time and set a deadline for its submission
• Failure to submit evidence within the specified deadline may be ruled against the party concerned
• The admin team's decision is final and binding from the moment it is published in official Discord channels
